History Highlights of Olson High Purity

Since 1973 in the early days of clean room technology, Olson has been a leader in innovative high purity piping and tool installation. We continue to invest in equipment and training to stay at the forefront of this fast-paced industry.

  • 1973 - Working closely with facility engineers at Hewlett-Packard, Olson High Purity installed the process piping in Hewlett-Packard's first stateof-the-art clean room.

  • 1975 - Began installing the first high purity process piping and tool hook-up for Honeywell Seminconductor.

  • 1982 - Installed all process piping for the entire FAB2 facility expansion at Honeywell, where engineers required all piping to be fabricated in stainless steel and orbital welded.

  • 1984 - Installed all process piping for the entire FAB3 expansion at Honeywell.

  • 1985- Completed installation of all process piping and tool hook-ups for Atmel's FAB 1, 2, and 3.

  • 1989 - Installed all high purity process piping for addition of clean room at Cray Computer Corporation.

  • 1990 - Installed and completed all high purity process piping and tool hook-ups at Ramtron International's new manufacturing facility.

  • 1995 - Completed tool hook-ups and process piping in Atmel's new FAB 5 facility.

  • 1996 - Installed new tools, extended high purity mains and laterals in Atmel's FAB 5 expansion.

  • 1997 - Completed Atmel's CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polisher) addition in FAB 5.

  • 2000-2001 - We fabricated and shipped the process piping mains and laterals to Intel's Real Rancho, and new Colorado Springs' facilities.

  • Currently - We are fabricating and/or repairing and maintaining the process piping at Atmel, as well as, continuing our partnerships with Intel, Ramtron, Praxair, Vitesse, Compaq, and Agilent.

  • PVDF Fusion Welders
  • Teflon Fusion Welders
  • 2500 square foot Certified Class 100 In-House Clean Room
  • Average 40 High Purity Specialists Employed

Extensive High Purity Experience

When we made the committment in 1973 to enter the High Purity market, we set our sites on becoming the best fabrication shop and provider of high purity installations in the industry. Along the way we have accumulated the most experienced group of management and technicians required to complete any high purity installation, fabrication, or repair.
