    Q: Do you have a facility to fabricate high purity piping?

    A: Yes, our 2500 Sq. Ft. in-house facility can handle all your high purity process piping needs.

    Q: What is the range of your capabilities?

    A:
    Since 1973, we have gathered extensive experience fabricating and repairing almost anything that needs to be fabricated in a clean environment, including orbital welded stainless steel process gas systems and fusion welded plastics such as PVDF for de-ionized water systems. We also do fabrication for several clients.

    As an example, we supplied all of the following for Intel's Rio Rancho facility:

    • HP - Processed piping mains and laterals
    • OFA - Oil-Free Air
    • HPN2 - HP Nitrogen
    • HPO2 - HP Oxygen
    • HPAR - HP Argon
    • HPHE - HP Helium
    • UN2 - Utility Nitrogen
    • LCHE - Leak Check Helium
    • CAR - Construction Argon

    Q: Are your welders certified?

    A:
    Yes, all of our high purity specialists are certified in orbital welding and/or plastic socket, BCF, BUTT, and IR Fusion.

    Q: What is the certification level of your clean room?

    A:
    We have a "Certified Class 100" clean room that has recently been expanded to 2500 square feet. Together with our excellent facilities, our experienced staff is capable of fabricating any of your high purity piping needs.

    Q: Can you ship fabricated high purity piping to my location?

    A:
    We can fabricate any high purity piping needed and ship it to any location in the continental United States.

    Q: Can you help me with after-hour emergencies?

    A:
    Definitely. We have specialists on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week to solve any process piping problems you encounter. For example, we can create a replacement piece and air freight it if you want. In special cases, we can even fly out a specialist to work with your installation team on-site. We are committed to helping our customers, period.     Q: How long have you been in business?

    A:
    Our plumbing business was originally established in 1917 in Colorado Springs, CO. We began our innovations in high purity fabrication in 1973, in the very early days of clean room technology. Olson has been a leader in the fabrication and installation of high purity systems ever since, and has been known as a highly responsive problem solver. We have continued to invest in equipment and training to stay at the forefront of the industry.

    Q: How long have you been providing high purity services?

    A:
    Beginning in 1973, we were one of the first companies in Colorado to fabricate and install high purity process piping. Working closely with engineers at Hewlett-Packard, Olson High Purity helped establish the first clean room in Colorado Springs by installing all the process piping in HP's innovative facility.

    Q: What high purity equipment do you have now?

    A:
    Over the last three decades, we have assembled an extensive inventory of the finest equipment to fill all of your high purity needs, including state-of-the-art:

    • Orbital Welders
    • PVDF Fusion Welders
    • Teflon Fusion Welders
    • 2500 square foot fab shop Certified "Level 100" in-house Clean Room

    More important than our equipment, our staff is one of the most experienced and professional you will find anywhere in the country, including an average of 40 high purity specialists.

    Q: Is your clean room the vinyl curtain (soft wall) type?

    A:
    No, our clean room is a custom designed, state-of-the-art, structural "hard wall" environment, including a separate gowning room, and separate pipe storage and prep areas. This allows us to consistently maintain a Class 100 Certification.

    Q: Do you perform your own QA/QC, or hire an independent QA/QC company?

    A:
    Though many other companies use their own internal staff to QA/QC their work, we always prefer to use an independent, contractor which gives our clients the highest confidence in the quality of our work. We guarantee our work to be the highest quality available anywhere.
